OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2011. The last stage of sea trials of "NIBULON-1" tug was carried out. Maneuvers of the vessel were held to check the main engines under real operating conditions and check anchor complex at a depth of 20 m., reported the press-centre of NIBULON.  

The tug came out from the berth of Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”, passed the Buz’ko-Dniprovs’ko-lymans’kyy channel and set a course for the transshipment terminal of “NIBULON”. The tug hooked two non-self-propelled vessels there, went out to the fairway and started trials.

The tug fulfilled all necessary maneuvers that are provided by regulatory framework for the transportation of non-self-propelled vessels. Bringing of “NIBULON-1” vessel to poop and foremost anchors has been worked out there.

Points of trials (main engines, auxiliary machinery, anchor complex) were presented to the Shipping Register of Ukraine and adopted by it, after the tug returned to the yard “Okean”.

As a result of successful completion of sea trials by the tug, in the coming days the vessel will be taken on the class of the Shipping Register - and then delivered to the customer, to “NIBULON”.
