OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2011. Renaissance Advisors, the private finance and advisory services unit of Renaissance Group, has made two key appointments to its Moscow team.

Vagan Amichba has been appointed as Managing Director, Senior Financial Advisor. He will provide holistic financial solutions to key clients of Renaissance Group, focusing on ultra-high-net-worth individuals and cross-selling into all businesses of the Firm.

Mr. Amichba has more than 15 years’ experience in client relations, and extensive Russia and CIS markets expertise. Before joining Renaissance, he ran his own M&A consulting boutique, and prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, was head of wealth management at Troika Dialog. Mr. Amichba has also held several executive management positions in the automotive retail industry with carmakers including Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and BMW.

Kirill Schmidt has joined Renaissance Advisors as Vice President, Financial Advisor. Mr. Schmidt has more than 13 years’ financial markets experience. Prior to Renaissance Advisors, he served as deputy CEO of Nomos-Bank Asset Management; having also worked at asset manager, AVK Palace Square, as a portfolio manager, as well as at Citibank Private Banking, Troika Dialog and FCI Management.
