OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2011. "METALLOINVEST" became the corporate donor of the Russian aid fund (Rusfond) of the publishing house "Kommersant". The Group donated in July 2 million roubles to support projects of the fund in 2011. The first joint project of "METALLOINVEST" and Rusfond is the aid program for children with diabetes. In accordance with the agreement "METALLOINVEST" will pay one third of the cost of equipment purchased under the program, in particular, insulin pumps. Rusfond will be responsible for the collection of the remaining sum.

Partnership with Rusfond also enables Metalloinvest to launch the program of personal charity of the company's employees and inhabitants of regions where the Group operates. "Joint gifts" project allows the involvement of organizations and private persons in charitable activities for children from the regions of presence of the enterprises of the Group.
