OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2011. Kyivstar has connected Krasnoarmeisk to the broadband Internet network. This is the 11th city in Donbas and the 68th in Ukraine where Home Internet service had been launched.

Krasnoarmeisk, Donetsk region, joined the network of high-speed Internet from "Kyivstar". Now wire Internet via TeхHoлoгии FTTB from the leading telecommunications services provider covers 68 cities of Ukraine.

To provide access to broadband Internet in Krasnoarmeisk Kyivstar laid the fiber optic cable to 101 apartment houses. Thus, 10 500 families can take advantage of "Home Internet" service. The residents of Krasnoarmeisk who live in Lazurnyi, Shakhterskyi and Solnechnyi districts can connect to broadband Internet.

Kyivstar offers Home Internet users a subscription fee of UAH 55 per month depending on the desired access speed. Guaranteed rate of tariff plans — from 2 to 80 Mb/s. At any time the customer can double access speed to the Internet by ordering "Double Speed".

The Krasnoarmeisk residents have a unique proposal "Wired Internet pays for mobile phone". With this proposal customers can use the money spent on Home Internet to pay for mobile services.
