OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2011. Rostelecom OJSC was granted Certificates of conformity with information security requirements for key e-Government components.

Pursuant to the above documents certified components of e-Government infrastructure comply with the state requirements for organizational and technical information security, unauthorized access security and protection of personal information.

In Moscow, certificates of conformity were granted for the integrated computer-based system of the federal segment of e-Government infrastructure and the system of certification centers of e-Government trusted zone.

Certificates of conformity were  granted to the regional segments of e-Government infrastructure as well.

According to the orders of the Government of the Russian Federation, Rostelecom is the only executor of design work, development and operation of the e-Government infrastructure. Unique infrastructure developed by the company, i.e. protected communication channels and data processing centers alongside with experience in carrying out large national projects enable the company to solve the problem successfully both on the federal, regional and municipal levels.

The company is looking forward to expand cooperation with the subjects and municipalities of the Russian Federation to convert public and municipal services into electronic form. Under public private partnership on the e-Government development Rostelecom acts as a long-term investor.
