OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2011. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov charged to the First vice Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev and the Minister of Finance Fedir Yaroshenko to provide restoration of the New (Big) tower of the Kamyanest-Podilskyi fortress which was ruined in the beginning of August.

Considering huge historical and architectural value of this protruding monument, Mykola Azarov charged to prepare the decision on allocation for restoration works of means from Alternate fund of the state budget.

At the same time the Prime Minister paid attention of the Minister of Culture Myhailo Kulynyaka and the Head of Khmelnytskyi RSA Vasyl Yaduha to the inadequate control over a condition of monuments of history, culture and architecture.

"At any cost we will not allow, that monuments fall down in Ukraine, without exaggeration, world value", - emphasized Mykola Azarov.
