OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2011. IDGC of Urals, (RTS and MICEX: MRKU) reports on the results of BoD session. BoD meeting approved the Innovative Development Program for 2011-2016, reported the press-centre of IDGC of Urals.

The Program is aimed at increasing economic and energy efficiency of the energy supply by creating modern grids matching best global standards.

Key directions of the innovations:

1 Innovative technologies and components of smart grids;

2. Innovative metering, communication and management systems and methods;

3. Increase of energy efficiency, ecological and performance production properties;

4. Creation and development of new services and types of client service;

5. Innovations in business processes and management.

The Program will be financed by internal resources using RAB-methodology. Overall expenses, according to the Program, shall total RUR 12 354.8 mln., including RUR 2 143.4 mln. spent on R&D and RUR 10 211.4 mln spent on innovation implementation.
