Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Opened Bread Factory in Luhansk
OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2011. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysyazhnyuk attended the grand opening of the bread factory JSC "LuhanskMlyn." The new factory will help the company enter the planned production volumes of 350-400 tons of bread per day, that will allow guarantee decent bread whole East region. According to the Minister to guarantee food security and accessible food prices need to create a vertically integrated full cycle company.
As noted by Head of Agrarian Policy, opening a bread factory - a significant event not only for business or region, but also for the entire country. "Today, the company the same grows corn, grain elevator has storage and lines for grinding grain, warehouses for storing flour and own bakery plant. That is an example of a complete vertically integrated company. If in Ukraine will be more such companies, the issue price of bread in front of us will not stand" - Mykola Prysyazhnyuk noted.
For today JSC "LuhanskMlyn" produces 77 tons of bread a day, and for a year and a half plans to reach the production to 350-400 tons per day, opening a few more plants in the cities of the region. "This will allow to ensure the supply of bread of the whole of the eastern Ukrainian region", - the Minister stressed.
Also Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said that the Ministry will initiate the development of the cluster model of production in the agricultural sector. "I have already instructed the Institute of Economy to work out changes in the Ukrainian legislation to the model finally earned. And that we have not raised the VAT and the withdrawal of funds for every stage of production", - he said.
The Minister noted positive shifts in the agricultural sphere. "We see how the initiatives of the President on implementation of the economic reforms are embodied in life. And in the agrarian sector of the results of these reforms seen better than in any other sector", - Mykola Prysyazhnyuk emphasized.
