OREANDA-NEWS. August 9, 2011. Bryansk Engineering Plant (a part of CJSC Transmashholding) has shipped to the customer 50 new 12-3090 universal open cars with unloading gates.

The customer is OJSC Uralelectromed. By the end of the year Transmashholding will deliver 300 of such cars to the company.

Open car is a new product for BMZ, which was mastered in 2011. Features of a new car are: reinforced structure of top cord, which prevents car body deformation during loading and unloading. Panelling of sidewalls reduces friction of cargo on the walls during unloading. Fittings for pipe slip joint of breaking system and tread guard asbestos-free brake pads are used. Mastering a new product allowed to extend product portfolio of Transmashholding and to launch work within a railway equipment segment of the market which is new for the company.

The car is fully in compliance with requirements of OJSC Russian Railways, in June 2011 the car obtained certificate of conformity of certification Register for federal railway transport.
