OREANDA-NEWS. August 09, 2011. In July of current year the rise in prices has stopped. The First deputy minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Vadym Kopylov informed about it today at a briefing.

Vadym Kopylov noted that on results of the first half-year of 2011 the parameter of inflation made 5.9 %. He also informed that it is expected seasonal reduction of prices on food stuffs in July - September: "This process has already begun".

At the same time the official noted, that the Ministry and the Government as a whole apply a maximum of efforts on decrease in paces of growth of inflation. "If you learn now a situation with sugar we you see that measures have been accepted on time and any fluctuations of the prices for sugar have been not observed. I think we have a chance that the planned parameters of inflation have been executed", - the First deputy minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine emphasized.
