OREANDA-NEWS. August 09, 2011. ARARATBANK assets totaled 68,4 billion drams increasing by 60,18% vs. figure of the same period last year. During the same period liabilities of the Bank increased by 72,66% totaling 57,2 billion vs. 33,15 billion in 2010, reported the press-centre of ARARATBANK.

SME lending keeps on being one of the strategic priorities of the Bank. With this aim the Bank concluded a loan agreement with EFSE in the amount of USD 10 million and AMD 752 million was attracted from EBRD. During the current year the Bank intends to attract USD 20 million from different international institutions for lending to micro, as well as small and medium businesses. The Bank’s loan portfolio totaled AMD 32,2 billion increasing by 53,77% vs. figure of July 1 of the previous year.

During last one year term deposits of the Bank increased by 64,4 % amounting to 12,9 billion drams. During the mentioned period number of plastic cards increased by 41,3% totaling 63 696. Number of the Bank’s customers is the next important indicator, which has increased by 28,07%.

It is noteworthy that in the first half-year of 2011 the Bank’s net profit totaled AMD 1,106 million, which has exceeded the figure of the same period of 2010 by 78% and the planned figure of the first half-year in 2011 by 61%.
