August 8, 2011. 19th Universal Trade and Industrial Exhibition and Fair “WEEK OF RUSSIAN GOODS IN THE VOLGA REGION” will be held on August 24-28th, 2011 on the threshold of celebrating Tatarstan Republic Day and Kazan City Day in “Kazanskaya Yarmarka” Exhibition Center which objective is to promote cooperation of trading and economic interests of regions of Russia and Tatarstan.

During 18 years the given exhibition was held under the name: “The meeting point is Kazan”. This year it was decided to make a re-branding of the exhibition as far as its exposition demonstrates achievements of Russian commodity manufacturers of different industries in full aspects. On the whole the exhibition is an important component of a complex program of support of local manufacturers that lets to appreciate the tendencies and prospects of the development of Russian market, commodity quality and product competitiveness of domestic manufacture. Moreover. The exhibition opens new possibilities for small and average business development and of establishing business partner relationships between the regions of Russia and Tatarstan.

This year exhibition participants are the manufacturers from Volgograd, Ivanovo, Kirov, Kostroma, Kurgan, Moscow, Penza, Perm, Saratov, Sochi, Tula, Togliatti cities, Leningrad, Smolensk, Lipetsk, Bryansk, Ulyanovsk, Novosibirsk regions, the cities of the Chuvashskaya Republic, The Republic of Mary El, The Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan, The Republic of North Osetia-Alania Region, The Republic of Belarus and others. Russian goods of a good quality and reasonable prices will be presented in the exhibition.

Visitors can get men's, women’s, children's clothing, knitwear, leather products, headdresses, fur coats and coats, fashion jewelry and accessories, and also textiles for the house, household goods, flower seeding. Besides, such foodstuff products as bakery and confectionery, sausage, meat, fish production, dried fruits, nuts, olive oil, spices, drinks and many other things will be widely presented. Within the limits of the exhibition foodstuff products degustation will be organized.

Together with an exhibition “WEEK OF RUSSIAN GOODS IN THE VOLGA REGION” will be held “Honey coast” honey fair organized by the State Autonomous Establishment “Beekeeping Management”. Apiary from different regions of Russia will offer to visitors a wide assortment of beekeeping products such as honey, bee-glue (propolis), royal jelly, pharmaceuticals made from honey.

The exhibition “WEEK OF RUSSIAN GOODS IN THE VOLGA REGION” as one of the most widely known and hospitable exhibitions of the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan becomes the meeting point of trade and economic interests of the regions of Russia and the Republic Tatarstan. It assist to cooperation and establishment of business relations between industrial and trade companies that gives an option of exchanging experience, concluding a contract and attracting more customers to their production.
