Over 30 Moldovan Enterprises Received Credits under MOSEFF of EBRD
OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2011. The following companies became the project’s participants: Orhei-Vit – 850 thousand euros (replacement of a steam-generating boiler – reduction in electricity and gas consumption by 24%), Covoare-Ungheni – about 380 thousand euros (installation of 2 modern gas boilers and of equipment that will reduce losses in electric power distribution and the upgrading of sewage treatment plants; Stejaur – 141 thousand euros (replacement of the veneer press leads to a reduction of energy consumption by 84%); Moldagrotehnica - 150 thousand (intends to reduce energy consumption in the production process by 59%); Coloteia – 135 thousand euros (re-equipment of the processing line for high quality meat products). 75% of the total amount stipulated for 2011 (20 mln euros) have been drawn by now under the program.
The deadline for submitting applications for participating in the program is November 2011. As it was reported earlier, funds for re-equipment (from 25 thousand to 2 mln euros) are allocated to enterprises with private ownership. Depending on the volume of energy saved during the implementation process, as well as CO2 reduction confirmed by an independent auditor - the Austrian company ALLPLAN, companies are receiving grants from 5 to 20%.
The banks-partners of the program are the Moldova-Agroindbank (MAIB), Moldindconbank (MICB) and the Chisinau branch of the Commercial Bank of Romania (BCR).
