OREANDA-NEWS. August 4, 2011. In June 2011 there were completed tests on the integration of terminals of Relay Protection and Automation Microprocessors (produced by research-and-production enterprise EKRA) in hardware and software complex SMART-SPRECON (manufactured by CJSC RTSoft) via IEC 61850 protocol. The tests were conducted at the RTSoft site in town of Cheboksary.

The full interoperability of hardware and software complex SMART-SPRECON and terminals of Relay Protection and Automation Microprocessors was confirmed as a result of testing. This means that they could be jointly applied in the projects of automated technological process control systems of electric substations.
