OREANDA-NEWS. August 4, 2011. In the last meeting Managers and Specialists discussed the main areas of OJSC TANECO activities regarding Occupational, Industrial and Fire Safety, Environment Protection and Industrial injuries preventive measures taken in the first six months of 2011. Thanks to the preventive measures taken there were no injuries and accidents during the reporting period of OJSC TANECO. As for the comments presented during audits measures were taken to timely eliminate the comments and avoid them in future.

OJSC TANECO applies the corporate experience enriched by JSC Tatneft in the area of Occupational Safety and consistently strives to increase the level of workplaces safety. To prevent occupational illness preliminary and periodical medical examinations are arranged. In the first six months of the year 235 TANECO employees passed the preliminary examination and 2018 employees – periodical examination. In comparison with the same period of the previous year a decrease of disability days is observed.

Analysis of occupational, fire, gas and environment safety indicates that OJSC TANECO Managers of Structural Divisions should pay a serious attention to the improvement of Personnel competence and strictly control over observance of personnel duties. Each employee of the Company should keep in his mind that personal responsibility and observance of the established rules ensure labor safety and well-being of the work force.
