Eurasian Development Bank Holds Conference on Customs Union
OREANDA-NEWS. The sixth Eurasian Development Bank's (EDB) International Conference "Customs Union and EurAsEC's Common Economic Space: Prospects for Further Integration" will be held in Almaty on 13-14 October 2011, reported the press-centre of KASE.
The following sections will work at the forum:
- Customs Union and Common Economic Space: prospects for enhancement;
- Eurasian integration trends: theoretical and comparative contexts;
- Labour and educational migration in the CIS;
- Financial integration in the region;
- Mutual investments and trade between the CIS countries;
- Prospects for innovative development and high technologies: intercountry context;
- Transport infrastructure integration (EurAsEC's Comprehensive Plan);
- Energy and energy efficiency;
- Environmental and social aspects of investment activities in the Eurasian region; and
- EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund's activities and joint anti-crisis strategies in the region.
