OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2011. Members of staff of the Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) for Control over the Authorities had a meeting with representatives of the Working Group on Customs and Logistics at Russian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was organised as a Round Table. Participants discussed issues related to customs regulation and possible administrative barriers, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The Head of the FAS Department for Control over the Authorities, Vladimir Mishelovin, informed participants about the efforts of the Antimonopoly Service to enforce the authorities to comply with the antimonopoly law, and the available antimonopoly remedies, gave a detailed account of FAS participation in the activities of the Working Group for optimising the structure and functions of the federal executive bodies at the Government Commission on the Administrative Reform.

Summing up the meeting, participants agreed on prompt cooperation with FAS Russia to facilitate conditions for developing competition on the markets of logistics and customs services, and provide expert support for antimonopoly control over customs regulation.
