OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) has received a petition of “Fionty Investments Ltd.” (location: Geneva Place, Waterfront Drive, P.O. Box 3469, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands; main activities: investments) about acquiring 100% voting shares of “Gelio-Polis” CJSC (location: 106, Bolshaya St., Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan, 420030; main activities: investments in securities) (the Petition), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Having considered the Petition, FAS established that the transaction in question can restrict competition.

Governed by Clause 2 Part 2 and Part 3 Article 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) extended the period for Petition consideration for two months in order to obtain additional information to be able to additionally examine the Petition and place information about the transaction on the official web-site of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.

Interested persons can present information to the antimonopoly body as to how the above transaction can affect the state of competition.
