The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov charged the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food to carry out daily monitoring of the price situation on the market of agricultural products in order to prevent speculative manifestations. About it the Head of Government said during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"I assign the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food literally on a daily basis is monitoring the situation on the market of agrarian products and prevent seasonal and most importantly speculative fluctuations of prices", - he stressed.

However the Head of the Government stressed that today the economic reasons for the growth of prices for bread, sugar, meat, milk, vegetables, etc. simply do not exist. "The Government does not dictate the price. They are such as to ensure and profitability of manufacturers and the stability of prices for consumers", - he said adding that this year there is an opportunity to "create as big as ever the grain reserves" thanks to the introduced back in the spring of forward purchases and more than sufficient financing of purchases now .
