OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2011. In the coming days the National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" will announce a tender for the purchase of even a modern drilling rig. Deputy CEO Vadim Chuprun declared about this in an interview to the TV program of 5 channel.

"It was technical council, which approved absolutely all specifications for the purchase of the second setting, the depth of drilling which will be up to 120 meters, almost twice the ones we have now. This will be the contemporary setting," - emphasized Vadim Chuprun.

According to Deputy Chairman of the NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" tendering will start soon.

"We want this procedure to give serious publicity, transparency, so invite all representatives of public organizations and media. In the procedure associated with the opening of tender packages, we would like to invite all interested persons. Let them see the price they see and hear the answers to many questions that occurred during the purchase of the first drill,"- said Vadim Chuprun.

According to him, the first drilling rig will be operational in Black Sea shelf in the beginning of 2012, the second – by the end of 2012.

He stressed that in accordance with targets set leadership of the country, gas production on the Black Sea shelf by 2015 will be increased in 1,8-2 times.
