OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2011. Jinchuan Group Ltd. will tie up with Jingyuan Coal Industry Co. and China Datang Corp. to explore and develop the Shajingzi coal mine in Huanxian County, Gansu Province, the minutes of a meeting reveal, reported the press-centre of Jinchuan Group.

During a recent site visit, Jinchuan Group Ltd. Chairman Yang Zhiqiang vowed to bring into full play the Group’s advantages in technology, management expertise and talents and push forward pre-development work of the project.

The development of the project will translate the resource-rich advantage into a momentum in economic growth and contribute to Gansu’s leapfrog development, Yang added.

He went on to emphasize that state-of-the-art technology and equipment will be used to fully exploit the finite resources. The Group seeks to achieve a win-win situation and common development, he said.

The coal mine boasts enormous reserves –1.4 billion tonnes. Its development is still at an early stage.
