OREANDA-NEWS. August 02, 2011. The signing ceremony of Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group and  Liaozhong County (Shenyang) co-construction of Liaozhong County coastal new city complex project was held in Shenyang. CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee member and Shenyang Party secretary Zeng Wei, Shenyang city mayor Chen Haibo, deputy mayor Wu Hansheng, Baosteel Group Corporation general manager He Wenbo and Baosteel Engineering general manager Jiang Weimin attended the signing ceremony. Before signing of the contract, the two sides had a discussion, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

Liaozhong County coastal new city complex project's direct investment is more than 2 billion yuan. It includes Liaozhong County new industry incubator base, medical center, stadium, cultural museum, coastal high school and social pensionary housing, with over 900,000 square meters of total construction area.

In the discussion, Zeng Wei hoped that Baosteel would build the project into a coastal new city demonstration project. "Shenyang will create favorable conditions to support  Baosteel's steel processing and logistics industry development.

He Wenbo said that Shenyang's revitalization and development brought opportunities for Baosteel. "Baosteel will regard Shenyang as a key central city in national layout and make greater contribution for Shenyang's development.
