Dmitry Medvedev Met with Heads of Law-Enforcement Departments
OREANDA-NEWS. August 01, 2011. Dmitry Medvedev summarized results of special certification of law enforcement officers, as well as work of the Commission for Special Certification of the Russian Federation Law Enforcement Agencies’ Personnel Applying for Senior Positions.
The President made a decision to continue the Commission’s work on a permanent basis. In addition, Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin reported to the President on results in the investigation of the Bulgaria cruise ship accident.
Participants in the meeting included Prosecutor General Yury Chaika, Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev, Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov, Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Naryshkin and First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Vladislav Surkov.
