OREANDA-NEWS. August 01, 2011. These projects that will be financed from the “Electronic Moldova” Fund were selected during the meeting of the inter-ministerial committee for strategic planning. Particularly, 4 million leis will be used to establish the modern electronic purchases system, 3.5 million leis – to create the informational system “State Register in Education” that will represent the electronic registration of students, teachers, didactic materials and educational institutions. 3.5 million leis more are intended for establishment of the efficient document management system in the government.

About 700,000 leis are planned to be spent for developing infrastructure of the data processing center of the Special Telecommunications Center, and 600,000 leis – for working out the Electronic register of personal data owners that is the priority project in the context of the EU-Moldova dialogue over the visa order liberalization.

According to the chief executive of the E-Governance Center Stella Mocan, these projects will enable to provide high-quality services to citizens and businessmen and will contribute to fulfillment of the government’s European integration commitments.
