CB "Victoriabank" JSC - the first bank in Moldova, summarizes the first six months results of 2011, reaching highest results, among them, the launch of new innovative products to the market of R.Moldova, such as: the first Platinum card,  first co-brand card issued in partnership with the Moldovan airline company, development of subdivisions network, extension of customer service area and most importantly - a significant increase in economic performance, reported the press-centre of Victoriabank.

In the first half of 2011 Victoriabank is still the leader of the national banking system for deposit funds, the deposit portfolio constitutes more than 6.436 million lei, with a market share of 21.0%.

In the first half of 2011 the bank’s assets amounted to more than 7.7 billion lei, Victoriabank showing an impressive increase of 665 million lei as compared with the end of 2010 and more than 1.6 billion lei, compared to the figure on June 30, 2010. The Victoriabank’s market share by this indicator increased by 1.8 p.p. and constituted 17.2% % of total banking system assets, thus Victoriabank ranks second place. Also, Victoriabank ranks first place in liquid assets with the index of more than 3 billion lei, representing one of the criteria of the bank’s reliability.

Bank's loan portfolio exceeded 4.412 million lei, representing 15.9% of the market, increasing by 385 million lei in the first half of the year and compared to 30 June 2010 by 717 million lei. Thus, Victoriabank occupies one of the leading positions on credits issued to the population of the Republic of Moldova.

Good results were achieved through effective strategies, high staff commitment and the trust of our customers," said Ms.Natalia Politov-Cangas, president of Victoriabank.

The introduction of new products and services to financial and economic system of the Republic of Moldova, the extension of services area, in combination with the strategy of continuous development, allows making optimistic forecasts also for the second half of 2011. Victoriabank announces its focus on increasing market share, the high multiplication of the results achieved during 21 years of its activity.
