OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2011. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid compensation in amount of 1,644,984 rubles to the cargo owner LLC  Reteilor for the burned-out cargo of household appliances and office equipment that was insured under the "All risks" contract by the Insurer's branch in Novosibirsk. Shipping company LLC  TEK SIBTRANSGARANT was the Insured and acted as the freight forwarder.

The insurance event occurred on October 6, 2010. The cargo was being shipped on the Moscow-Novosibirsk route in a drawbar combination belonging a company from Moscow that had signed the contract of freight forwarding. The car caught fire on the road in the Kirzhach district of Vladimir region. The driver noticed smoke coming from under the canvas top of the car, and promptly detached the trailer. A brigade from the State Institution Russian Emergency Ministry in Vladimir region had arrived on the scene of the accident, the fire was extinguished. The cargo in the trailer was rescued. However, the vehicle itself and the cargo were completely destroyed by fire.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid compensation to the cargo owner in full.
