OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers at its meeting adopted the resolution "On formation of the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine". As announced by the Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko, the draft regulation act was developed by the Pension Fund for the purpose of optimization of the system of bodies of the Fund, to improve the management of its local offices and reduction of the managerial positions.

So, in particular, it is proposed to unite the management of the Fund, which currently operates in towns of regional subordination. In this one, the control executes the powers of the area, and another in the city. Such offices - 122. In addition, will be merged 19 departments of the Fund, which are currently in operation in the areas of unified city.

According to Sergiy Tigipko, the implementation of the resolution will not require additional expenditures of the Pension fund and the state budget. According to preliminary calculations, will be reduced 1220 of the staff, which will save the Fund almost 70,0 million UAH per year.
