OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. The system of online registration of individual entrepreneurs introduced in Azerbaijan since 1 July has already shown its effectiveness.

The acting chief of the Taxes Ministry Main Department of State Registration of Legal Entities & Economic Analysis, Zaur Fatizadeh, says that within the system online registration this July it was registered more than 1,200 individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity without establishing a legal entity.

"Within its authority the Ministry of Taxes continues work on the formation of e-government elements, as already implemented projects are just the start of work. This year the Ministry is planning expansion of capacity of services through the portal of the Ministry," Fatizadeh said.

He added that the Taxes Ministry’s next project will be payment of tax duties in electronic form.

"In the short-term prospect a possibility will be created for payment through plastic cards to ensure electronic tax payments. As this is a very serious step, the current process is being studied and analyzed. The matter of preliminary filling of tax declarations and electronic auditing is also under consideration," Fatizadeh said.
