OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. The Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has announced the results of activities for the first half of the year.

The Ministry reports that in the first half of 2011 the domestic hatcheries released 434.2 million fingerlings of different fish species (including 20.1 million fingerlings of sturgeon, 175,000 ones of salmon and 414 million ones of other species) into the Kura River, the Caspian Sea and ponds.
