OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. Anhui province's retail sales of consumer goods rose 17.8 percent year-on-year to 230.8 billion yuan (USD 35.5 billion) during the first half of this year, the provincial Bureau of Statistics announced Tuesday.

The province ranked eleventh in the country and first in the Central China region for the growth, which was 1.0 percentage points higher than the national average level.
