OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. Transcapitalbank extended Tranche B in the amount of USD 104 mln of USD  164 million syndicated loan raised in 2010 for one year with the possibility of prolongation. Under this deal the whole cost of funding were reduced to 3,9% p.a. compared to the same indicator last year which represented 5,1% p.a.

The following banks confirmed its participation in prolongation: VTB Deutscheland (Germany), Commerzbank (Germany), RZB (Austria), ING (The Netherlands), Amsterdam Trade Bank (The Netherlands), AKA (Germany), BCP (Switzerland), London Forfeiting (Great Britain), ADRIA Bank AG (Austria), Standard Chartered Bank (Great Britain), UBI Banca (Italy).

As the Chairman of the Management Board Olga Gryadovaya has announced, “we consider the current deal not only as an appropriate extra possibility of further active increase of financing for real sector of the Russian economy in regions in 2011, but also as a next acknowledgement of Transcapitalbank high partner status on the international financial market”.

In 2010 Transcapitalbank raised international syndicated loan in the amount of USD  164 million. Tranche A in the amount of USD  60 million is granted by EBRD and IFC for 3 years. Tranche B in the amount of USD  104 is raised by way of syndicated loan from international banks for 1 year with the possibility of prolongation for the same period. This syndication became one of the first successful transactions on the international financial market executed by a Russian commercial bank.
