OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. International Cooperation Department is pleased to announce that the European Commision has chosen for funding the project "Communication and information technologies for traffic safety and efficiency: EU-RU-UA Transport technologies Master and PhD programs" within TEMPUS plan. The project was introduced by St. Petersburg State Aerospace Engineering University in February 2011.

A tripatite consortium of European, Russian and Ukranian universities was set up to implement the project. Four universities on either side are responsible for air, rail, sea or road transport; MSTU will be responsible for sea transport.

The project is planned for 2011 – 2013. The total progect budget will be around 1.5 million euros.
