OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. It was said by the Chisinau Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca during the launch of the large-scale Road Reconstruction Program implemented by the capital’s City Hall and the Genesis International company that won the tender organized by municipal authorities in 2010.

The first street to be repaired in the framework of the program will be Tudor Strisca street on the part between the Ungureanu and Independentee streets. It is planned to repair the Stefan cel Mare boulevards (totally), Grigore Vieru (totally), Dacia (from Valea Crucii to Gradina Botanica), streets Vadul lui Voda (totally), Izmail (the crossroad of the Varnita and Calea Mosilor streets), Burebista (from Muncesti to Sarmisegetuza), Vasilii Lupu (E.Coca – Vasilii Lupu, 87), Muncesti street (Decebal – Gradina Botanica) within the next 3 months if the weather is good.

The Chisinau City Hall has signed a contract in the amount of 162 million leis to repair these streets. The loan will be provided in parts at 4.2% p.a. The credit is to be repaid within 12 months. Repair of the Columna street started recently at the expense of the municipal budget. The Chisinau City Hall also found money for repairing Aleco Russo, Ion Creanga, Testimitianu, Ion Inculet streets in the framework of the Program funded by the IFC. These roads will be repaired in 2012.
