PM of Ukraine: There Are No Bases for Increase of Price on Bread
OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. There are no bases for increase of the price on bread in Ukraine. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov informed about it speaking to journalists in the Poltava region after inspection of gathering of early grain on fields of LLC "Agrarian enterprise "Mayak".
"Existing expenditures in baking branch and in agricultural branch completely become covered by cost prices. Therefore there are no bases for increase of the price on bread", - the Prime Minister noted. Thus he emphasized, that new marketing year stars and if necessary the Government will take all measures for prevention of rise in prices on bread.
At the same time the Prime Minister emphasized that now the average price for ton grain makes 1600 UAH and completely covers expenses of manufacturers. "That price which has now been on grain and it about 1600 UAH per ton, at this stage it completely covers a net cost of manufacture of grain and gives the certain profitability. Therefore now there are no bases for price increase on bread", - Mykola Azarov emphasized.
