In the first half of this year, under the sever situation that raw material prices rising continuously, steel capacity surplus increasingly, market competition intensifying constantly, and the whole industry with meager profit, by playing the role of variety structure optimization, promoting technological innovation continuously, deepening the standardization constantly, TISCO increased its steel output and stainless steel output by 0.35% and 3.13% respectively year-on-year; business revenue, profit and tax by 10.11%, 0.83% and 24.86% respectively year-on-year; and achieved good work performance in the market development, standardization, project construction, green development and other works, reported the press-centre of TISCO.

TISCO obtained great achievements repeatedly in market and product development. According to the demands of market and users, TISCO adjusted the variety structure, a batch of products which can substitute imported ones with great market demand, high added value and good benefits were developed in succession. On stainless steel, shipbuilding industry reached new heights, papermaking project made breakthrough; valve body used steel, pump shaft used duplex steel entered into high-end industries; Duplex steel heat exchanger tube substituted import; Stainless steel precision steel strip used for welding material and car engine tube industry.

On carbon steel, engineering machinery used steel, pipeline steel, container used steel, electric power steel are increased year-on-year by different degree; Successfully developed automobile clutch friction plate used steel, high strength duplex wheel steel, thin size high strength automobile steel, crane annealing state outstretched arm used steel, high strength concrete mixing tank used steel; EU high strength steel and welding steel wire rod successfully substituted import; High grade cold silicon formed batch supply in 1 million kw nuclear power, high efficient refrigeration compressor and other high-end markets, and made a progress in railway motor car, electric vehicles and other new industries.
 
At the same time, TISCO actively carried out internal tap standardization work, comprehensively promoted elaborate and efficient management by EVA (Economic Value Added) management, ensured raw material purchase with low cost by flexible purchasing strategy, reduced the production operation cost by optimized production process, as the result, realized760 million yuan of cost reduction and efficiency increase in half year. The key projects construction were orderly promoted, projects with energy saving, environmental protection and quality increase like iron-making system, steel-making system, section system and etc were put into production. TISCO realized to upgrade green development level by continuously promoting green development, low carbon development.
