FAS Held Round Table on Prices on Foods Markets
OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2011. Prices for socially important food products in the Republic of Buryatia do not increase as fast as in the neighbouring provinces of Siberian Federal District due to coherent efforts of the federal authorities and regional bodies of the Republic of Buryatia. This conclusion was made at a Round Table, which was held to discuss the measures against inflation and growth of prices on the foods markets in Ulan-Ude, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
“Control over food markets is one of the main priorities in FAS work, taking into account special socially importance of this market for the population”, said Stats-Secretary Andrey Tsarikovskiy, Deputy Head of FAS Russia, at the Round Table.
“When we work together, our actions become more efficient”, is convinced Andrey Tsarikovskiy.
The “Round Table” participants included: the Head of Buryatia OFAS Russia, Elizaveta Potapova; a Federal Inspector for the Republic of Buyratia of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation on the Siberian Federal District, Oyuna Tsoizhilova; Deputy Head of the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Buyratia, Oleg Kalinkin; the Chair of the Labour Committee, of the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Buyratia, Tatiana Matveeva; and a member of the Council of the Buyratia Regional Branch of the “United Russia” National Political Party, Indira Shagdarova.
