Uzbekenergo Makes Pilot Model of Solar Power Plant
OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2011. The operating showcase of Solar Power Plant is installed at Power Electric Faculty of the Tashkent State Technical University. This project is a result of signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SJSC "Uzbekenergo" and the Korean company "Semyung Electric". This unit had been provided gratuitously by Korean Party, reported the press-centre of Uzbekenergo.
It is worth mentioning, that the highly effective module had been used at assembly of Solar Power Plant model. One sheet of this module is generating 390 W and total output capacity is 3.2 kW/h.
The principle of operation of this model is the following: the solar energy enters through the module and is transferred to inverter where it will be transformed. Therefore the transformed energy can be used in the household and complex purposes. In case of installation of monitoring on research into this system it would be possible to see the data on display how much of electric power per day the unit generating and what time is the most effective for power production.
Both SJSC "Uzbekenergo" and the Korean company "Semyung Electric" hopes that this pilot model of Solar Power Plant installed in the institution will serve not only the evident manual for students and the future experts, but also will promote mass introduction of alternative energy sources in various branches of economy of Uzbekistan.
For development of the solar electric power, Uzbekistan has the unique natural data, such as a powerful sunlight and silicon. Further it will allow Uzbekistan to become the leader on development of the solar electric power and to export it to other CIS countries.
