KAMAZ Organized Workshop for Managers of Service and Dealer Network
OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. KAMAZ has recently organized a workshop for managers of a service and dealer network to train them to sell cars up to the latest world standards.
KAMAZ’s specialists try to use new methods of their work with clients which significantly increase sales of KAMAZ trucks. The company’s strategic partner ¬– Daimler AG – has offered its assistance in this sphere. The specialists of the German company have accumulated great experience selling their products under "Trade In" and leasing schemes.
With great interest, the participants of the workshop listened to Igor Zenger (Mercedes Benz) who told how the cost of used trucks of the network TruckStore Erfurt was estimated. The firm buys old cars from a customer and sells him or her new cars. And, according to the "Trade In" system, the cost of a bought vehicle is taken into account when purchasing a new truck. This scheme of buying and selling is beneficial both for the firm and the client. In the course of the organized training, the participants of the workshop were asked to consider such a type of selling with due regard for their own practice.
As for leasing of vehicles, Igor Zenger said that Daimler AG leased up to 40% of all manufactured trucks. This form of purchasing of new vehicles has lately become very popular in Russia too.
