Belarus Stats Committee Says Real Individual Incomes Increased 14.4%
OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. Belarusians’ real incomes [adjusted for inflation] rose 14.4% on the year in January-May 2011, the National Statistics Committee said in a press release.
Individual incomes rose 34.6% on the year in January-May to 52 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), while consumer prices increased 17.7% year-on-year. As a result, incomes rose 14.4% in real terms.
Real disposable incomes went up 12.4% on the year in January-May 2011.
Incomes per capita amounted to 1,096,700 rubles in January-May 2011.
Compensations accounted for 65.7% of total incomes in January-May 2011, up from 62.2% in January-May 2010.
Social transfers – pensions, allowances and study grants – accounted for 20.8%, down from 21.8% in January-May 2010, and incomes entrepreneurial activities an other income-gaining activities for 10.4%, down from 12%, and incomes from property – yield on deposit and dividends – for 3.1%, down from 4%.
