Lithuania is interested in taking part in the privatization of several Belarusian enterprises, in particular, the state-run Mozyr-based enterprise Etanol (Gomel Region), OJSC Minsk Margarine Plant, and OJSC Konfa (Molodechno, Minsk Region), Ambassador of Belarus to Lithuania Vladimir Drazhin told the press on Wednesday.

“Our experience indicates that the desire of Lithuanian investors to privatize several enterprises in Belarus comes after foreign direct investments. In particular, the acquisition of the Mozyr-based enterprise Etanol, Minsk Margarine Plant, the Molodechno-based factory Konfa and several other enterprises that may get Lithuanian investments is under consideration today,” Drazhin said.
