OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. The sales volume of Q2 2011 reached 2.38 million tons, while operating revenue achieved NTD63.63 billion and the pretax profits achieved NTD9.99 billion, reported the press-centre of China Steel Corporation.

Comparing to the operating revenue NTD56.51 billion and pretax profits NTD7.32 billion of Q1 2011, operating revenue increased by NTD7.12 billion and earnings increased by NTD2.67 billion.

Bigger increase of selling prices comparing with the one of cost and more sales volume of steel products that resulted in the growth of profits.
