OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. Hot rolled high strength steel WYS700 with tensile strength 800MPa and thickness of 1.2 mm was produced successfully by CSP, an arm of Wisco. It shows that WISCO is capable of producing ultrathin high strength steel in batches, which means significantly to for CSP to optimize product mix, reported the press-centre of Wisco.

By means of dropping by customers, combining with CSP features and a collection of problems tackling on site process, Wisco developed a series of high strength steel WJX600-NH, WJX750-NH and WYS700 with tensile strength ranging from 600 to 800 MPa, thickness specifications from 1.2 to 3.0 mm.

The R&D of this series of high strength steel will lower down production and use cost, be widely applied in special containers, large-scale outdoor advertising and automobile sector, etc, and further enhance market competitiveness of Wisco hot rolled products.
