OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. Recently, news comes from Baosteel International-Bsteel Online Co.,Ltd.: TBEA New Energy Co., Ltd. (TBEA New Energy) and the Bsteel Online Co.,Ltd.have signed "B-eps" e-commerce service agreement. Baosteel will use the advantages of e-commerce service platform and provide complete set of supporting services such as resource sharing. TBEA New Energy is becoming Baosteel's first e-commerce procurement customer in the field of new energy, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

With the development of the Internet, e-commerce has become an effective way for enterprises' standardized, transparent, efficient operation. In 2008, Baosteel e-commerce procurement platform was officially launched, allowing a unified operating platform for enterprise procurement management and offering strong support for the standardization, transparency and cost reduction of corporate procurement practices. For years, this platform has offered e-commerce procurement service for hundreds of companies within the Group and has gained nearly ten thousand registered suppliers. Material varieties come into hundreds of classes and more than 100,000 kinds. Last year's turnover reaches nearly 18 billion yuan.

By the end of last year, "B-eps" e-commerce service platform  was launched.

The platform combines a number of Baosteel e-commerce procurement platform resources and  upgrade network infrastructure and service ability, with functions such as e-procurement, supply chain collaboration, online shops and green certification. This year, with "the most competitive third-party B2B online purchasing platform in China's steel and related manufacturing industries"as its goal, Bsteel Online Co.,Ltd. expands market-oriented development path and successfully establish partnership with  customers in fields of steel, heavy manufacturing, chemical and non-ferrous metals.
