OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. During Euro-2012 capacity of Kharkiv international airport will reduce service time up to 1 minute per one passenger. For this it will be deployed 25 points of control of aviation security in the airport terminals.

According to the Deputy Director of aviation security of the airport Sergiy Makotseba, one of the priorities of training facility for Euro-2012 is to provide security. "If in Kharkiv met principal rivals, fans of one of the teams will go through new passenger terminal and fans of the second team through a temporary Terminal. And representatives of UEFA, other VIP passengers will pass through the "old" air terminal. Thus, we bring to the possible minimum probability of collisions of fans”, - Makotseba noted.

In addition, innovations touch the registration system for passengers. Fans in their country register and obtain boarding passes on the return flight from Kharkiv, which seriously speed up registration and enhance the capacity of the airport.

Almost all working processes that can be made at the airport (registration of passengers, the situation of the parking lot at the Terminal area, lobby, and all the stages of control) occur "over the record". And it is not just video, but also audio conversations. For this airport purchases more than 100 cameras. In addition, the equipment will be purchased to control the perimeter of the airport.

"During Euro 2012 it will be on duty unit of internal troops at the airport – now such propose is developing by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. As for police office at the airport Kharkiv: at the time of the tournament it will be also allocated considerable strength and resources to solve all the tasks at a decent level"- said Sergiy Makotseba.
