Government of Kyrgyzstan Promises to Protect Private Property
OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. The IBC members attended the meeting of the Commission on civil monitoring of the government agencies’ activities in the property rights protection. The Commission Chairman - First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Omurbek Babanov, stated that the Government will protect private property, and this will be a condition for return of foreign investors' confidence, reported the press-centre of IBC.
The meeting participants agreed that it is necessary to conduct an analysis of legislation on the property rights protection and to harmonize it with the new Constitution.
In addition, the Commission members approved the Commission working plan. Deputy Minister of Economic Regulation Mukanbetov Sanjar informed that according to Commission regulations the Commission meetings should be held at least once a quarter.
