OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. IBC Parliamentary Affairs Officer participated in a roundtable on the topic: "The Customs Union: Practice, problems and their solutions", reported the press-centre of IBC. 

The event was held by USAID Regional Trade Liberalization and Customs Project (RTLC) in Astana with the participation of the Kazakhstan Union of Customs Declarants. The roundtable participants familiarized with the results of a study conducted in connection with Kazakhstan’s entry into the Customs Union.

The meeting discussed the influence of the Customs Union on the economy of Kazakhstan and business activities of the participants in international trade. The roundtable was attended by representatives of businesses, freight forwarders, brokers, traders, owners of warehouses, logistics companies, trucking companies, business associations, government representatives, and the media.
