In recent years, Datong Coal Mine Group has carefully implemented the scientific perception "of safe development", positively explored the pattern and features of "safe production", researched a practicable way of working safely under new circumstances, so that a safety theoretical system of "Everybody is a member of the ventilation" has been established. As a result, a long-term mechanism of safety in production has been applied, workers' consciousness and group's administration on the aspect of safety has been greatly arised. What's more, a solid support for the Group's extensive development has been provided, reported the press-centre of Datong Coal Mine Group.

Since June 2011, in order to further publicize and implement the national policy of safety in production and to strongly promote the safety development strategy of "Everybody is a member of the ventilation, a rule can dominate for 100 years" can be practised, deepened and extended in the whole group's safety work and the steady progress in safe production, Datong Coal Mine Group launched a prosperous and featured activity "Safety Production Month" in June 2011.

Around the theme of "The importance of responsibility of safety lays on implementation", there were ten main sub-activities:

1. Broadly spreading the national policy, law and theories of safety in production, activating the study of safety rules which are based on "Everybody is a member of the ventilation, a rule can dominate for 100 years";

2. Providing advisories about safety in production in order to properly serve and guide the grass-root units;

3. Positively solving the hidden problems and establishing a long-term system that ensures the safety in production;

4. Pushing the establishment of culture in safe production, and building the culture of safe execution;

5. Organizing the practice of emergency rescue plan to improve the ability of emergency support;

6. Holding the "Safety and Health Cup" competition and practical activities whose theme is "Consciousness of Safety throughout the Sea of Coal";

7. Strengthening the education of safety in production to improve the consciousness and responsibility of safety throughout workers at every levels;

8. Carrying out the "finding missing in safety working" activity to further solid the base of safety as well as consolidating and developing the current good situation;

9. Spreading the knowledge about road safety and fire safety;

10. Holding the activity of "Safety Advisory Day" to provide a good atmosphere for the sound and fast development of the group.
