OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2011. National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia's only settlement depository servicing the full range of debt and equity securities of Russian issuers, reports that Maria Krasnova has been appointed the company's Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board. In her new role she will be responsible for legal issues, corporate governance, risk management and for development of the company's quality control system.

Maria Krasnova graduated from the Law School of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. In January 2001 she joined NDC as the Head of Legal Department. From 30 November, 2009 to 3 November, 2010, Ms. Krasnova was a member of the Executive Board of NDC. On 11 November, 2010 she was appointed the Head of Legal Unit of NSD.
