OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2011. Kaliningrad-ROSNO branch of the North-Western Directorate has concluded two animal insurance contracts with OJSC BaltZangas Nefteorgsintez, a large pig-breeding company located in the Kaliningrad Region. The contractual insurance amount is 73,881,725 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insurance protection covers 14,011 heads of pig livestock: feeder pigs, sows and boars kept at the pig-breeding facility in the village Melnikovo, Zelenograd district, the Kaliningrad Region. The total weight of the insured animals exceeds 500,000 kg.

Animals have been insured against the risks of loss, death due to any disease or accident, fire, lightning stroke, explosion, natural disaster, unlawful third-party actions, as well as loss due to theft or brigandage.

The contracts have been concluded for 1 year. This is the third year of cooperation between ROSNO and BaltZangas Nefteorgsintez.
