OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2011. In the first half-year 2011 the total of the accidents connected with manufacture, was reduced more than to 13% in comparison with the similar period of the last year. Fatal cases decreased for 5 %. It was declared by the chairman of the Public service of mountain supervision and an industrial security of Ukraine Oleksander Hohotva.

The most injury unsafe in the first half-year there were a coal industry, a machine engineering industry, agriculture and welfare area. At the enterprises of these branches of economy 74 % injured, from them 56 % - fatal.

The most widespread reasons for a traumatism are elementary infringements of labor and industrial discipline, technological process and safety requirements at operation of the equipment, cars and mechanisms. Besides, the Chairman of the Public service of mountain supervision and an industrial security of Ukraine has noted on unsatisfactory quality of carrying out of the preliminary and periodic medical surveys which called up to diagnose and in a timely manner to reveal occupational diseases.
